Kinley Metals Private Limited conducted a Rimdo ceremony at its project site on 29 September 2026, seeking blessings, protection, harmony, and well-being as the company continues it's ongoing construction and development.
The ceremony was attended by the company's CEO, Manager, staff members, civil and structural teams, furnace workers, and other personnel involved in the project. The gathering brought together people from different sections of the workforce, reflecting the unity and collective effort behind the company's development.
The Rimdo was presided over by the Lam Neten of Samdrup Jongkhar and included several important religious practices, including Choe-Sung, Kago, and Mikha.
Choe-Sung is associated with prayers and offerings to the Dharma protectors, seeking protection and support for the people and the undertaking. Kago is a practice of restoration and reconciliation, performed to restore harmony and fulfil religious obligations. Mikha is associated with prayers and practices intended to avert negative influences, conflicts, and harmful circumstances.
Together, these practices formed an important part of the Rimdo ceremony, with prayers offered for the successful progress of the project, safety and well-being of everyone involved, harmony among the workforce, and continued prosperity of Kinley Metals Private Limited.
